A short note to joyfully share this new step on my songwriting journey 😀
My FIRST VIDEOCLIP is out on the online platform Concert with You!!!
This dream became reality thanks to the support of the International Yehudi Menuhin Foundation, which commissioned the video and gave me all needed encouragement to embark on the adventure.
I also send my thanks to Enrico at La Strada Recording Studio, Emiliano for the wonderful video, and to the young footballers of Piazza San Cosimato: try and picture a cello in the middle of a square that is usually used as a football ground, in a sunny September afternoon that still smells of summer, straight after the end of a school day… That’s one dangerous performing venue!
But the young people we met took good care of us. I have been busking in this square since summer 2022, and I love all the different keepers of this space, their energies and grooves… You can see some of the players behind me in the video, “trying their best not to hit me” -their words ha! It was good fun and I’m grateful they shared this moment with us 🙂
The song is “The girl who loves the wind”. I wrote it on the road, on my way home after visiting my grannie: I still remember recording the voice note as I drove into the highway, wondering about the journeys behind and ahead…

Since I finished my studies and started out as a freelance creative, the IYMF has been my home-base: involving me in their creative residencies and training me as an ambassador, supporting my project New Worlds in 2020, and now this! I could never thank them enough and I send them all my love.

I really enjoyed this filming experience and it already inspired a new adventure, that brought me to the deep south of Italy just a few days ago: to visit some old friends, a magical place, space and community, and start shooting a new clip for the next song (sneak peak below)…
